Beachside Living

What a difference rethinking the floor plan and use of useable space made to the family of this beachside residence.  This home now flows from one area to another and provides separate areas for the kids and adults to entertain, watch a movie or read a book.

Upstairs, various walls were knocked down to open up the kitchen and living areas of this beachside home, creating greater use and flow - a far more user friendly space for this young family. A new kitchen complete with caesarstone benchtops, stainless steel appliances and rangehood compliment the north facing, open plan living. Living area, downstairs - conversion of double garage area. Large travertine tiles (600mmx600mm) in Noce were chosen for the flooring. Bi-fold doors were also installed to open this room to the outside. All walls in this residence were painted in Dulux Fair Bianca, keeping in tune with the light, open, beachy feel.

Giving is always fun - and now gift wrapping is a pleasure!!!

Wow - what a fabulous setup. Wrapping a present just became a pleasure. Every house needs one of these areas where everything is at hand. This one is a part of the laundry area of this Austin, TX: Harrod's Creek home.

Thx to Southern Living magazine.
